Who Should Not Take Wegovy or Mounjaro
- Personal/family history of medullary thyroid cancer
- MEN-2 (multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2)
- Allergy to GLP-1 medications
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Under 18 or over 75
- History of pancreatitis
- Those on certain diabetes medications (e.g., sulfonylureas)
- Those using other weight-loss injections such as Ozempic, Saxenda or Trulicity
